WAR ON WASTE
One of the challenges with waste is plastic bottles. Our research revealed alarming facts and we wanted to bring them to life in a special build OOH campaign. Filling an actual plastic bottle with water takes the same time as it does to dispose of 1 million plastic bottles that will end up in oceans or landfills. This thought-provocative OOH picked us up a gold gong but also picked up awareness for the show, War on Waste.
HOW DID WE DO IT?
We placed an empty plastic bottle on the plinth. We then had the OOH Media team rig a hidden tap at the top. The tap dropped a stream of water into the empty bottle. Once full, the bottle released the water through a hidden trap door. The water was then pumped up the top of billboard and the bottle would refill again. We asked them to time this to exactly 1 minute so we could then source a bold and alarming fact around how many bottles we use in 1 minute.
