ABC IVIEW
Being the first BVOD (broadcast vid on demand) service to market in this country had become a double-edged sword. We certainly got a head start on winning the hearts and minds of audiences but with the proliferation of new streamers, including all the biggies, we were beginning to be perceived as the old kids on the block. Insights told us that consumers only use 4 VOD services in a single week and we wanted to be one of them. Focusing on the surprising breadth and depth of content, we developed the “Don’t be surprised if you’re surprised” campaign. The campaign has been recognised by local and international judges, winning awards for creative excellence. It also propelled ABC iview into the #1 BVOD position that it enjoys today.
